Who is Luke Asper?
Luke Asper has been a cinematographer for over a decade, building a body of work focused on a single question: how does video actually help a brand close a deal.
The answer that emerged from that decade is editorial craft applied to commercial intent. Documentary-style customer testimonials. Cinematic brand films. Sales enablement video built to shorten cycles. The clients who buy this kind of work share a profile: they sell at six figures and above, their buyers research carefully, and the deal closes on trust as much as on price.
That profile led Luke into a specific set of industries. Wealth management firms running between $500 million and $5 billion in AUM. Luxury real estate developers shaping mixed-use districts. Enterprise SaaS leaders selling to procurement committees. Custom home builders. Luxury auto. The work is national but the studio is rooted in Dallas Fort Worth, where Luke founded Asper Studios in 2016.
Today he directs every shoot personally, with the studio team handling production, editing, and delivery. The goal of each project is the same as the goal that started the work a decade ago: video that earns the buyer's trust and gives the sales team something real to send.
Personal Life
Luke Asper is originally from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and has built both his career and home in Texas. On June 15, 2024, he married his wife, Amethyst Michelle, an accomplished artist who has toured across the U.S. The couple resides in Grapevine, Texas, where they continue to pursue their creative passions while encouraging and supporting each other’s dreams.
